Exploring for the sake of exploring is a distinctly human thing to do.
With thousands of flights taking off each day, in hundreds of cities around the world, traveling has never been more safe, easy and appealing.
When I’m traveling, vacationing or simply exploring new places and experiences, my psychological readiness to collect, assimilate and make use of fresh information increases.
I immerse myself in an unfamiliar culture so I can see and do things with a new point of view.
Here are my point that have helped me imensely in being able to travel several times a year, without breaking the bank.
Travel during off-season
Going off-season is a huge thing for me. Not only is it a fraction of the price,
but the volume of tourists is at an all-time low.
The only downfall during the off-season is usually the weather. Just be sure to pack appropriate clothing for the time of year you’ll be there. It will be worth the date change.
Travel creates meaningful relationships
People you meet while on the road become some of the most valued names on your contact list.
They become places on the map to visit later on. These folks give you a glimpse outside your hometown circle of friends, and force you to take in new and refreshing perspectives, and ultimately realize that everyone is the same.
Every trip changes you. Big or small. You never come back from a trip quite the same as before you left, discover the beauty of the world and learn from it at the same time!
Traveling Allows You To Try Amazing Food
Eating local food in a new country is an entirely new experience. All the flavors are different.
Here me out: I’m Romanian and I love our local recipes. You do to. But let’s not kid ourselves: some change would be more than welcome in our daily diet. If only because we’re naturally curious.
“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt
